Wang Zhong-Xian's mother is a Tzu Chi volunteer. When he was a child, he used to be waken up by the aphorism of Master Cheng Yen each morning. With the contacts with Tzu Chi in all occasions, he is no stranger to Tzu Chi. After registered in the university, his mother invited him to work as a volunteer to the Tzu Chi Jing Si Abode during the summer vacation. Under the guidance of the Tzu Chi commissioned members, he participated in the morning dharma gathering each day. Every two to three days, he was invited on the same stage with Master Cheng Yen to share his Tzu Chi experiences with the audience all over the world. This was something he has always cherished. After he entered the university, he made his mind to initiate the Tzu Chi Youth Association in the university. After promoting recycling on fixed spots in the campus on regular schedule for half a year, he finally moved Professor Chen Shi Hui of the Department of Biology to persuade the administration to allow the formal registration of the desired Tzu Chi Youth Association in school.

Wang Zhong-Xian, grown up in Taiwan, has taken root in Thailand because of his family and career, is responsible for translation, refinement, photography, film and television, activities, and medi-care plans for TIMA of the Tzu Chi branch in Thailand. Versatile with multiple roles, he has acted like a well-prepared magician, wholeheartedly help spread the love without borders of Tzu Chi to all corners of Thailand.

At this annual meeting of TIMA, Wang Zhong-Xian accompanied 30 members from four hospitals and a nursing school to return to Hualien. When Wang Zhong-Xian, acting as the team leader, accompanied the Thai doctors to wittiness the dean of Tzu Chi Hualien General Hospital, leading the medical staff, visit the under-privileged families and even help clean their toilets and get their houses painted. The members of the Thailand team were deeply touched.

Wang Zhong-Xian said that when he goes back to Thailand with his team crew, he hopes to lead them to cultivate the same humanistic spirit. They will also takes care of the patient's minds while healing their illness. They hope to help the families in need reverse their lives from palm-up to palm-down and thus help stabilize the society.
