Dr. Phua Qiang-Hua, a pediatrician from Malaysia, has worked with TIMA to conduct free clinics in the areas affected by flooding.

Dr. Phua Qiang-hua, a pediatric physician in Malaysia, has joined TIMA for eight years. This is his third time to attend the International Conference of TIMA. Dr. Pan also participated in the training program for volunteers in Malaysia this year and intended to the training program for certified volunteers next year. This time, he was as touched as he used to be.

In Malaysia, TIMA members usually visit the care recipients in person to offer free clinics to them. This is because many patients are unable to go to hospital. For those who are in serious condition, the TIMA members will transform them to hospitals for further treatments.

In 2017, devastating flooding broke out in Malaysia, causing filthy environment, sanitary problems, and diseases cholera and gastrointestinal infections. That's why Dr. Phua Qiang-Hua worked with other TIMA members to offer medical services in the affected areas.

Dr. Phua Qiang-Hua, who has participated TIMA annual conference for three times, was listening to the lectures attentively.
