Faisal Hu is such a good story-teller that many of the audience burst into tears after listening to his speech. He shared how he made it possible for the Syrian refugee children to continue their schooling. One of the boys on the video said that he hoped he could go to school and that his dream finally came true.

Then, Mr. Hu recalled the first time when he met Tzu Chi volunteers who came to Turkey for quake relief in 1999. He and his wife invited those volunteers to his home for dinner, impressed by the good behaviors of the Tzu Chi volunteers, so he was curious about Tzu Chi. What’s more, when knowing that Master Cheng Yen had thought that the mosque should be located in the center of Da Ai village, he felt being respected. He was even surprised that the word “Buddhist” was not shown on the tents.

Mr. Hu then started doing Tzu Chi’s relief work in Turkey. They’ve been providing aids for the refugees from Syria for many years. Tzu Chi Turkey not only distributed aids for the refugees, but also helped to establish schools for the Syrian children.

Those touching stories on the relief work are collected in the latest book “種在星月下的種子”(Chinese edition). All the audience are lucky to have the chance to buy this book with the main character's signature.
