Dharma master De Min reminds everyone to pull their effort together to ensure a successful Convention.

Every year around Mid-Autumn Festival, medical volunteers from around the globe would return to their spiritual homeland in Hualien Taiwan, to celebrate the special occasion with volunteers with the same mission. This year is the 22nd year of TIMA convention.

The event supervisor Master De Min shared, “doctors’ jobs are never easy, so we would like to hold the event in a more relaxing atmosphere. This year‘s TIMA Convention is organized by Da Lin Tzu Chi hospital- the hospital seats in the middle of paddy field. Da Lin is a special hospital with a local grassroots characteristic, medical staff always communicate in a humorous way, so everyone feels comfortable in this kind of environment.“ This years‘s 4 day Convention consists of abundant seminars and the Da Lin organizers in particular, invite Nobel prize winners to attend the Convention, hoping to encourage exchanges with international professionals. Furthermore with the humorous talks from Vice-superintendent Dr. Jiang, this year's convention is surely going to be another memorable one.

Master De Min reminded the Convention lead organizer Vice-superintendent Dr. Chien Rui-Teng, “we have medical volunteers from China this year, so please don't forget to ‘Chinese Taiwanese half‘, that is to speak at least half in Mandarin and half in Taiwanese.“

Master De Min thanked all the volunteers for giving up their own long holiday break to come back to Hualien to volunteer and create good affinities with all the medical volunteers from around the globe and reminded everyone to give 100% on their jobs. Everyone contributing a little, together the combined will and effort will surely ensure a successful convention.
