The Yuli Tzu Chi General Hospital persists in the motivation of building a hospital, Kindness, Compassion, Joy and Unselfish giving, working on the service of medicine missions. Inspired by Master Cheng Yen, many professional doctors, nurses and volunteer with life-respect faith, practice patient-oriented acute medicine and community care in the east of Taiwan.
Recently, medical members and resources are centralized in metropolis. In remote areas, professionals and medical resource are insufficient. To elevate quality and level of medical care in remote districts and to avoid remote people to make a long trip for a doctor, Yuli Tzu Chi General Hospital is planed to build in the Yuli county of Hualien. It succeeds to the building of Yuli DongDe Hospital and combines with doctors with various specialties, nurses, rehabilitation therapists and volunteers of Hualien Tzu Chi General Hospital. Multi-professions support Yuli areas, providing complete service of prevention, medical treatment and sequent care. The Yuli Tzu Chi General Hospital serves local people and practice Tzu Chi spirits. |

◎ Provide general clinics and inpatient service, enhancing the need of taking
emergency medical treatment
◎ Set rehabilitation therapy and provide professional medical rooms for
rehabilitation
◎ Following the policy of the health bureau to conduct the work of general
healthcare and public hygiene
◎ Provide aid for poor patients and help to solve the problem related to people
with disability—indirectly reduce social problems.
◎ Cooperate with other medical institutions nearby and conduct referral treatment
by cases
