The camp preparation, execution works for TIMA annual convention is taken care and rotated by volunteers from northern, central and southern areas of Taiwan. This year is in charged by volunteer from northern Taiwan. All brothers and sisters from northern Taiwan cherish this rare opportunity very much. While preparing for camp souvenir for the attendees, everyone trying so hard to figure out that would be the best item. After discussion, it reached a consensus of the small bag for dinning ware, stylus pen, and the essence oil provided by Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital which are practical and useful.
Sister Lin, Xuefang and Luo, Meizhu who serve as the coordinators this year feel grateful for TIMA members very much. Because wherever the disasters are, TIMA members not only dedicate themselves to the medical relief missions continuously, but also reach out for the needy with love in their homeland. During their stay in Taiwan, every detail should be attentively carried out from the sincerity and respect. Volunteers who signed up in the work team, each of them is capable as well as well experienced. Sister Lin and Luo will lead all the dedicated volunteers who signed up for camp TIMA functional groups to create a special and memorable life experience for all TIMA members. Meanwhile, they also wish the success for 2016 TIMA.
Brother Cao,Congxian encouraged new volunteers to participate various activities and learn as often as possible so that they can catch up with the current movements and also have a broader vision. He shared, "In fact, to avoid derailed, the more senior you are, the faster you need to catch up with the pace of the whole team." Indeed, spiritual cultivation is always practiced among people. To the coming of attendees from overseas, he firmly stated that "We will manage our very best to let the attendees to have more opportunities to learn about Tzu Chi. "
As a matter of fact, volunteers from different locations have already started their action ever since the preparations. Since the beginning of September, volunteers in Xintai branch of New Taipei City kept busy at sewing a button on souvenir bags. Many of the elderly volunteers barely can get the thread through the needle; they still enjoyed the work very much. From the facial expression, we could tell their love and thoughtful mind while making those bags.
